Mandaram Eco Resort

Recently stayed at this eco-lodge, and while the environment and certain facilities were beautiful, my overall experience was unfortunately marred by several significant concerns. One main issue was the refusal to assist in bringing urgently needed medicines using their 4-wheel vehicle, despite the location's exclusive accessibility via such vehicles. This lack of assistance was distressing and showed a lack of flexibility and care. would have been a different experience all-together if not for the effort made by a kind hearted 3 wheeler driver who reached us with the medicines after a super normal effort. The inconsistency in hot water availability, especially in a cold area, was discomforting. Additionally, the absence of lighting in the common outside hut, the main space for outdoor gatherings, was a letdown. While an alternative space was offered, its cleanliness didn't meet expectations. The quality of snacks and meals, apart from the breakfast options, was subpar. definitely not worth the price they charge. Moreover, the delayed check-in until 3.50 pm in one facility due to room arrangements affected our plans. Safety was another concern, notably the high-risk access bridge to one of the facility rooms. Unfortunately, one guest experienced a minor physical injury due to a fall from this bridge, highlighting safety negligence. On a positive note, the environment was breathtaking, and two huts displayed commendable facility quality ( wood cabin was a disaster with no basic facilities and very poor maintenance) Additionally, the staff demonstrated kindness and care despite the operational challenges. In summary, while the location was stunning and some areas showcased quality, the overall experience was overshadowed by numerous drawbacks, especially in crucial areas of safety, service, and timely assistance compared to other less cost options available in the area.

I recently stayed at Mandaram Eco Resort with my family, and we had a fantastic time. Our kids absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, the location was superb with marvelous views, and the jeep ride was awesome. What stood out the most, though, was the incredibly friendly staff. We can't wait to visit again! If you're looking for a quiet getaway, Mandaram Eco Resort is the perfect place. This tranquil retreat is more about relaxation and nature.

Our experience on the stay on 29th & 30 was extremely disappointed will not recommend to anyone. They are serving very basic menu in the restaurant & not taste at all. We ordered some bits & service arrangements, they took more than 3 hours. Wood cabin is in very bad level of maintenance. Main door, bathroom door can not be closed at all. Even though they tried to fix it, they couldn't. No hot water available, taps were broken. No value for money at all. Pathway lights to wood cabin is not working & we had to go in the dark. Complete hotel complex have an very poor maintenance. No one takes responsibility & just passing the ball. Excellent location ruined due to bad management.

Our experience at this hotel on December 25th was quite disappointing. The washrooms were not adequately clean, and the food lacked variety and tasted subpar. The buffet did not justify its cost, and the kitchen emitted an unpleasant garbage odor. The staff, including the manager, displayed a lack of concern, especially when we requested restroom cleaning. The curries served were watery and lacked flavor, and the dessert was also unsatisfactory. However, the redeeming factors were the exciting bus ride and the picturesque natural views, including a captivating waterfall suitable for relaxation. Unfortunately, the overall experience was marred by the ineffective management, whose apparent disinterest and excessive laughter left a negative impression. I cannot recommend this hotel to others based on our very unpleasant experience.

I have mixed feelings about Eco Resort. The location is exceptional. My thinking is that choosing this location and then having a chalet type layout is a very courageous, adventurous but slightly stupid and adamant idea by the owner. I feel like maintaining this type of resort hotel will be very difficult. I like Tea Experience factory hotel better than Eco resort simply Tea Experience hotel is luxurious and easy access compared to ECO. However, if you are a nature lover and love isolation, then Eco Resort is good. Wood cabin I stayed at Eco Resort was poorly maintained. Other chalets were very good. [TIP: If you are a group, book chalets which are close to each other. Otherwise it's another trip from chalet to chalet.] Food is very good. Access road after Tea Experience factory is very bumpy. Overall, I recommend this resort. I will still give 5 star rating because of the location and the mammoth effort has put to build a resort in this remote area.

6 of us Stayed there on 25th of December. We arrived there earlier than we expected and walked around by ourselves until our cabin/tent was ready, which they were about an hour late in getting it ready. They had only one guide, which we had to wait for him to take us to the natural pool. The location was fantastic, with beautiful kabaragala fall by walking distance. Can take a nice hike to the nature pool. Staff were very friendly but they lacked coordination, our bbq dinner was okay but was more than an our late than the time we requested. Breakfast and lunch was okay. There was an issue with hot water for the morning shower even though it wasn't an issue at other times. They could improve their service with more coordination. But must say the location, surrounding and the views were amazing 😍.
